Films are the
one made for the purpose of entertainment and to relax our mind. But this also
have some exceptions. Sometimes movies are also made to make us more alert,
make our brain work fast, faster….. to think about our future, our investment,
our money and its management… Are we on the right path??? Are we doing right
thing to our money??? And these questions comes to our mind and “ Rato ki Nind Udd Jati hai”…..
To this
questions I have a simple solution. Just watch these movies and you will get a
fair idea about your investments, your money, money management and financial
independence.
1. Becoming Warren Buffett ( 2017)

The film is a
documentary on the life of legendary investor, Mr. Warren Buffett. How he built
up an empire from just a minimum investment which is now the 7th
largest company of the S&P 500 Index by Market capitalisationand this man
is the richest investor of the world. The most I like about this movie is that
how, Warren Buffett learned the principles of investment and improved the term
value investing and faced numerous situations in his life and triumphed over
it.

This movie is
one of the good movies to learn about stock market. You can get a basic idea of stock market from
this movie. It is based on the 1992 stock market scam “ The Harshad Mehta Scam”
which made the market plummet like anything. How this big bull changed the
rules of the game in early 90’s is the base of the movie. A must watch movie
for a stock market enthusiast. How he managed to pull this gafla is a great
story and a lesson for each and every investor.
3. The Wolf of Wall Street ( 2013 )

I don’t think so
that I need to tell anything about this movie……. Every one of us have
definitely seen this movie at least once. For those who have not………..I would
like to say, Go! Go! Guys you are missing out something, you need to put this
movie to your bucket list that too in 1st
priority……..Really a nice and decent movie about how to enjoy success and rules
to become successful.
4. One Idiot By IFDC Foundation

It is a story
about an Idiot named Shri Shanti Prasad Dwarka Nath Bhargava ( Bhargava
Krishna) also called as Bugs Uncle by the neighbourhood teens. Considered to be
a penny pincher, wearing an already dead slippers, arguing for every penny from
the vegetable vendor, this man gave an important lesson for life to the
teenagers of his society. To be financially independent and the power of
compounding. A must watch video. Also, this video is being shown at various
financial institutes and colleges for the sake of financial education such as
JJ college of Arts, IIT Chennai, etc. Bugs Uncle you are great!!! You nailed it
Idiot……
5. The Pursuit of Happiness ( 2006)

This movie
shakes me from the core…….. The movie depicts each and everyone's battle with
the life. How the man named Chris Gardner who was cramped by his financial
instability brawled with his life and conquered it. At a point of time in the
movie, he did not even have money to buy bread for his young one but he was
not ready to accept his defeat and was just focused on his work. This attitude
of this man made my heart to melt. A Must Watch Movie. How he became a stock
broker from a salesperson even though having numerous of difficulties and
enjoyed success……….
